The mission and purpose of the Geneva Lions Club is consistent with the goals of Lions of Illinois and Lions International. Our Club raises money primarily for the benefit of persons with sight and/or hearing needs. The Geneva Lions “We Serve” Foundation donates 100% of its fund-raising proceeds to charitable causes – principally within the Fox Valley with a focus on the St. Charles and Geneva service area. Some funds are also donated to local community organizations. Our typical annual budget serves:

- American Diabetes Association (via the Lions of Illinois) – Diabetes is one of the leading causes of blindness.
- Association for Individual Development – assistance for challenged individuals with vision needs
- Spectrios Institute for Low Vision – Vision services and devices for children
