About the Geneva Lions Club Scholarship

Geneva Lions Club Scholarships are awarded to a qualified graduating high school senior from each of the high schools within the Geneva Lions Club service area of Geneva and St. Charles; Geneva High School, St. Charles East High School, and St. Charles North High School. As an organization dedicated to service in these communities for over 87 years, the scholarships are designed to reward and promote a commitment to service. Therefore, the community  service  component is heavily weighted. Additional criteria include:

• Graduating senior attending one of the three Geneva or St. Charles high schools: Geneva High School, St. Charles East High School or St. Charles North High School.
• Will attend a four or two-year college or trade school, starting no later than the fall semester following high school graduation
• Achieved a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 4.0 on a 5.0 scale (a B average)
